Such gorgeous colours in this gouldian finch, also known as the rainbow finch. I've used lots of colourful glitter tiles to highlight the purple, bronze, blue, green, orange and red, and set on an iridescent blue background.

I am drawn to mosaic art through my appreciation of imperfection and uniqueness; something beautiful is created from broken pieces. This resonates because of my personal recovery from neurosurgery to remove a brain tumour, rebuilding my life and my health with a different version of me.

To show my appreciation for the support I continue to receive from the charity brainstrust, I will donate 10% of my profits to their work supporting people with brain tumours.
